During the treatment, you may experience warmth, tingling or a prickling sensation as the microscopic biospicules are worked into the skin.

Following treatment, the skin can feel prickly or sensitive when touched, cleansed or when skincare is applied. This is an expected response and can continue for up to 72 hours while the biospicules remain within the epidermis before being naturally shed through the skin’s renewal process.

The intensity of the sensation varies according to the individual, the area being treated and the protocol used.

Glassifier has minimal downtime, but it is not a completely no-downtime facial.

Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear pink or flushed and can feel warm, tight or sensitive. A prickling sensation may be noticeable when touching or cleansing the skin for approximately 24–72 hours.
As the skin renews, you may also experience:

Mild redness, sensitivity or tenderness
Tightness, dryness or a rough skin texture
Mild itching
Light flaking or shedding

These responses are temporary and normally settle as the biospicules are naturally released from the skin.

You will be given full aftercare advice following your treatment.

Many clients notice an initial improvement in radiance, smoothness and hydration as the skin recovers. Results continue to develop over the following weeks as skin renewal and collagen-related activity are supported.

Although Glassifier can provide a visible boost after one treatment, the most significant and progressive results are achieved through a course performed at the intervals recommended by your clinical facialist.

A course allows us to build on each treatment, progressively improving texture, clarity, firmness, hydration and overall skin quality.

The precise interval will depend on your skin’s health, tolerance, concerns and response to treatment. Your skin will be assessed at every appointment and the protocol adjusted where necessary.

Following the initial course, we will review your results and recommend an appropriate maintenance plan

For optimum results, we recommend a course of five Glassifier treatments, normally carried out at intervals of two to four weeks.

Where additional treatments are recommended following your initial course, individual Glassifier treatments will continue to receive the 15% course rate, provided they are performed at the intervals prescribed by your clinical facialist.
