I’ve designed you a supercharged DIY facial for the party season, and it’s the perfect remedy for dull, tired lacklustre skin. It instantly provides noticeable results in firmness, brightness and overall texture and targets every area of the face, including the eye and lip area.

As well as being a ‘quick fix’, this Instant FX DIY facial stimulates and infuses your skin with reparative active ingredients, which can help to encourage more intense skin rejuvenation that further ignites your in clinic facial.

Using your prescribed cleanser, exfoliator, toner/pads and serums allows this treatment to be completely bespoke to your skin and skin concerns.

Step 1: Cleansing

Using a pea-sized amount of your prescribed cleanser, lather up with warm water and gently massage into face and neck, for one minute. Finish with 10 seconds over the eye area. Remove with warm water and a face cloth, then repeat.

Step 2: Exfoliation

Whilst your skin is still damp, use circular motions to massage your exfoliant into your skin for one minute. Finish with 2-3 seconds over the eye area. Rinse with warm water, then remove the remainder of product with a warm face cloth.

Step 3: Prep pads or toner

Wipe either one pre-soaked pad or one cotton pad soaked in solution over the entire face.

Step 4: Peel – ZO Skin Health Enzymatic Peel or HydroPeptide Polish & Plump Face Peel

Enzymatic Peel: Apply a thin layer of the peel over your face and neck. Be careful not to apply around the delicate eye area. Leave to work for 60 minutes. Remove thoroughly with a warm face cloth. Expect to feel some tingling!

or

Polish & Plump Peel: Gently massage in a pea-sized amount of Peel 1 into the skin for 1-2 minutes, then apply one pump of Peel 2 directly on top of Peel 1, covering the entire face. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Remove with warm water and finish by cleansing with your cleanser to ensure it is all removed.

Step 5: Eye Sheet Mask – HydroPeptide PolyPeptide Collagel+ Eye Sheet Masks

Separate the sheet masks from the clear film and apply directly under the eyes. You can apply a second set to the upper lids for extra smooth, hydrated eyelids. Leave for 10-20 mins and remove. Carry out the next step whilst the eye mask is on.

Step 6: Clarifying Mask – Complexion Clearing Mask

Apply a thin layer of the mask over your face and/or neck areas, around the Collagel Eye Masks. Leave this on for 10-20 minutes. Carry out the next step whilst this mask is on.

Step 7: Lip Mask- Hydropeptide Polypeptide Collagel+ Lip Mask

Separate the gel mask from the clear film and apply directly onto lips. Leave for 10-20 minutes, then remove. Rinsing is not required.

Step 8: Mask Removal

Remove the eye and lip sheet masks, then rinse off the Complexion Clearing Mask with warm water and a face cloth. Make sure it is all removed. Use a complexion Clearing or Oil Control Pad to ensure the mask has been thoroughly removed.

Step 9: Sheet Mask – HydroPeptide PolyPeptide Collagel+ Sheet Mask

Carefully unfold the sheet mask and separate the gel mask from the clear film. Apply the lower face section first by placing on the chin and lifting the skin upwards before placing. Apply the top half of the face section: starting on the forehead, smooth the mask down over the face, making sure the pre-cut holes for the mouth, nose and eyes are in the correct position. Smooth away any air. Leave for 10–20 minutes. Carry out the next step whilst the mask is on. When the time is up, remove the sheet mask only and leave the lip balm on.

Step 10: Lip Mask/Hydrating Balm – HydroPeptide LipLock Hydrator

Apply a generous amount to the lip area for an extra hydration boost.

Step 11: ZO Skin Health Illuminating AOX Serum

Apply three pumps of the Illuminating Serum to the face and neck to blur imperfections and provide a smooth finish.

Step 12 – ZO Skin Health Growth Factor Eye Serum

Apply one pump to one eye at a time. Work the serum into the skin in tiny circles, from the inside of the face out to the outer corner of the eye using the cooling applicator.

Step 13 –  Protect

ZO Skin Health Sheer Fluid SPF 50 is a favourite of mine as it provides a lovely light base for under make up.

Only apply if you are performing this facial during the day. Remember you still need to protect your skin with SPF even if you are inside.
